The Southeast Missouri Children's Museum is a 501 c 3 non-profit organization, DBA Discovery Playhouse. Established in 2006 by a group of community leaders, the Museum opened at its current building in the Spring of 2010. As a member of the Association of Children's Museums, we strive to follow best practices when it comes to providing highly engaging exhibits and programs, as well as, excellent customer service.
